Enrichment Programs

At St. Malachy, student life goes beyond the classroom. Our students engage in teamwork, creative thinking, confidence-building, leadership development, and communication skills. We nurture their growth and potential through enrichment programs and activities outside of regular school hours.

Our Athletics

Our students excel as leaders both on the court and in the classroom, engaging in basketball, cheerleading and lacrosse activities.

  • The girls' basketball team holds the title of champions in the Catholic school league.

  • Notably, the undefeated boys' basketball team clinched the 7th and 8th-grade Boy's Division Championship this year. GO RAMS!

  • Our lacrosse players have access to fantastic opportunities, with several securing scholarships upon high school graduation.

We adore engaging with our families through our distinctive programs! We welcome our families to join us in the following events:

  • Back to School Picnic: Meet your child's teacher, eat, and play games at this relaxed cookout.

  • Mathmania and Family Math Night: In the fall, our classes compete to see which can do the most math enrichment activities, and our families come together for an evening of fun math games.

  • Family Science Night: In the winter, our families come together for a night of science exploration.

  • Read to Win and Family Literacy Night: In the spring, each class tries to read the most books at home and school, and our families come together for a night of literacy.

  • Christmas Show: Join us for a night of music as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!

  • African American History Show: The students learn about their history and present their work to their families in a multi-media pageant.

  • Family Bingo Night: This winter event allows us to have fun with parents, students, and staff. Come for some great prizes!

Extended Day Program

St. Malachy School’s doors open at 6:30 a.m. to greet our early-arriving students and close at 5:30 p.m. to accommodate our working parents.

​

This program is much more than supervised care for our students; it also serves as a study period that allows students to be more organized, focused, and ready for the day.

During before-school care, students are served breakfast before they make a peaceful transition into their school day. Before-school care is included in tuition.

After school, our children are cared for in a safe and educational environment until 5:30 p.m. and is $100 per month. They are served a snack and participate in tutoring

and enrichment programs.

We will work with you around your budget if you need aftercare services.
