We have teamed up with Chicago Jesuit Academy to provide an excellent High School Bridge Program for our 7th and 8th grade students and their families.
Strong Christian Values
We are dedicated to nurturing the minds and hearts of our students:

-
Students have the opportunity to explore Catholic values through daily religion classes and monthly masses. For those interested, extra religious education classes are also available.

-
Our school's annual theme encourages students to put these values into practice. This year, we are focusing on being Team Malachy, learning to show respect for ourselves, our peers, our God, and our history.

-
Restorative justice principles guide our approach to student behavior. Understanding that children will make errors, we are committed to allowing them to rectify their mistakes and mend relationships.
High School Preparation
We have collaborated with Chicago Jesuit Academy to introduce a top-notch High School Bridge Program for our 7th and 8th grade students and their families. This program offers personalized assistance to all 8th graders as they search for the best high school fit and apply for scholarships, guiding them through the complex decision-making process.
Our students commonly enroll in a range of Catholic high schools such as Christ the King, De La Salle, Loyola Academy, Fenwick, Holy Trinity, St. Ignatius, and Notre Dame, along with various college preparatory public and charter schools.
St. Malachy School prioritizes enrolling students in college preparatory high school programs, aiming for a smooth transition to college by leveraging a tradition of academic excellence and scholarship achievements.

STEAM
In the STEAM curriculum, students utilize both hard and soft skills to tackle challenges. Collaboration is emphasized in STEAM to grasp STEM concepts better. By blending art concepts and techniques, STEAM incorporates tools like data visualization and fine art imagery to enhance comprehension of science, math, and technology.
