United Stand Family Counseling Center is a program of support and counseling established in 1987, servicing children, teens, young adults, and families who are struggling with problems that are damaging to their lives. United Stand Family Center offers:
Problem assessment
Consultation for family, schools and other community systems
Crisis intervention
Individual counseling
Family counseling
Group counseling
Self-esteem groups
Presentations to school personnel, parents, and other interested groups
In addition, United Stand Family Center offers Psycho-social-cognitive activities that indirectly and positively impact academic performance. These may include, but are not limited to assistance with:
Development of study skills
Test anxiety
Cognitive behavioral modifications related to classroom learning
